About Ground-IN® Health Limited

Ground-IN® Health Limited is dedicated to providing exceptional geriatric care where it matters most — in the comfort and familiarity of your own home, your clinic, or your care facility.

If you are worried about a parent or loved one, you may be wondering whether the concern is serious enough to act on — or whether to wait and see. Ground-IN® exists for exactly that moment. Specialist geriatric input in the public system is typically triggered by acute illness or crisis. Ground-IN® is designed for the earlier window — when intervention can meaningfully change trajectory.

Our Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments provide a holistic evaluation of an older person's health, taking into account medical conditions, cognitive function, physical capabilities, medications, and social circumstances. This thorough approach allows us to develop personalised care plans that truly meet individual needs — and to ensure the right specialists and services are involved at the right time.

Ground-IN® serves the Auckland region, bringing specialist expertise directly to you with professional, compassionate, and uncompromisingly honest care.

What Families Say

I am very grateful for Dr Aritra Ray's involvement in my mother's care. His assessment was thorough, and he took the time to listen carefully, which made Mum feel genuinely heard and understood. His guidance helped ensure she received the appropriate scans and specialist referrals in a timely manner. As a result, there has been some improvement in her health, and she now feels more confident about managing her condition. I would highly recommend Dr Ray for his expertise, compassion, and patient-centred approach.

Referral Process

The referral pathway is designed to be simple, clear, and supportive for patients, families, and referrers.

  1. Need identified — A GP, patient, or family member recognises the need for a specialist geriatric assessment.
  2. Referral initiated — The GP or family completes the online referral form, or the patient/family discusses the need with their GP who submits it on their behalf.
  3. Triage — Ground‑IN® Health reviews the referral and contacts the referrer within 2 weeks with possible dates for assessment.
  4. Booking & deposit — A review date is confirmed and a 50% deposit is paid online to secure the appointment.
  5. Assessment — The Specialist Geriatrician completes a comprehensive review at the patient’s home, clinic, or care facility. AI-assisted clinical documentation is used to support accurate and timely reporting.
  6. Final payment — The remaining balance is due at the time of the consultation.
  7. Outcome letter — A detailed clinical summary and recommendations are emailed to the patient and GP. Follow‑up arrangements are clarified at this stage.
